Wildlife Monitoring Camera Servicing
October 21 @ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
Collect data cards and change batteries on the cameras we have deployed to monitor fall desert tortoise activity and other sensitive species of interest in the Beaver Dam Wash National Conservation Area. Most monitoring locations are a 0.1-0.7 mile hike from road access. We will also survey dry washes for sign of desert tortoise activity and burrows. Tasks including driving time will take approximately 3-4 hours depending on the amount of area covered hiking 1-1.5 miles over uneven terrain. You will need to bring a pack to carry a few field supplies as well as the water and snacks you bring for the morning. Sign up for the dates you are available and you will be contacted for the dates you are needed. https://forms.gle/KF5diNzSs2je73LG7
