Latino Conservation Week — Desert Arachnid Nightwalk
July 21 @ 9:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Desert Arachnid Nightwalk – Paseo del Alacrán
Did you know that deserts in the American Southwest are relatively young? It could be said that many spiders and scorpions here ultimately have origins in Latin America. Join a local arachnid specialist for an easy nighttime walk along the trails of the Red Cliffs National Conservation Area where we will talk about the nocturnal lifestyles of these diverse and curious creatures. If we are lucky, we just might see some too!
**NOTE – To prevent impact on the desert ecosystem and ensure the safety of participants, this event is LIMITED TO 15 PEOPLE. Once this event fills up, you will be placed on a waiting-list so that you may have priority on our next nightwalk!**
- WHEN: Friday, July 21st — 9pm-10:30am
- WHERE: Meeting Location, Red Hills Desert Garden Pavilion — 375 Red Hills Pkwy, St. George, UT 84770
