Message from Board President Tom Butine
To all of you who care about conserving Southwest Utah, CSU’s Board of Directors invites you to stay in contact with our efforts through our new bi-monthly newsletter. The creation of this newsletter is a big step for us, and we hope it will help keep you engaged with news and information about what’s happening with CSU and with our public lands friends’ organization, SUNCLF.
This past year our organization has undergone many changes: a new name, a new website, the addition of new board members, more engagement with our elected officials, and growth of committees to work on issues. Our newsletter will keep you in contact with all of these activities as well as our progress.
As the sole local voice for conservation in Southwest Utah, your engagement is critical to preserving and protecting the reasons we live here. As we grow, we will continue to press for policies and actions that will enable our area to remain livable, including protecting our public lands, enabling a sustainable water supply, maintaining our clean air and advocating for policies that promote it, and growth planning.
It will be a constant effort, and one that will only succeed with your active support. How can you support? You can join. You can donate. You can volunteer whatever time and energy you can spare.
