The Yellow Knolls Trailhead (3,940′) is located in the Red Cliffs NCA approximately 5 miles up the Cottonwood Springs (Turkey Farm) Road. The road is paved for the first 2.5 miles. Beyond the pavement, travel is on a well-maintained dirt road typically passable by passenger vehicles but with some heavily-wash boarded sections.

Driving Directions from St. George:

1- Get on Red Hills Parkway heading east and pass the stop light at 1000 E.

2- Turn left onto Gateway Drive at the traffic light at Gateway Drive / Mall Drive Underpass.

3- Turn right onto Cottonwood Springs Road.

4- Travel north on Cottonwood Springs Road, passing the T-bone Trailhead, the water tank, and a large pull-out in the bend of the road.

5- Look for the signed Yellow Knolls Trailhead on your right (east) at approximately 5 miles.
